Great news, lovers of actors with large foreheads.
Dawson's Creek's James Van Der Beek has been cast as a "major" recurring character on the NBC nurse drama Mercy.
The former Dawson Leery will play the show's cocky, womanizing and manipulative new ICU chief. If the audience responds to the character, Jimmers could become a series regular.
I would say this is a huge deal for the Beek, except that I didn't know Mercy was still on the air. Is anyone watching?
