No offence, but of course it was American Airlines. If that was Ethiopia Airways, Comic Relief were lying to us for years.
Another flight attendant wrote online: "He's a major safety hazard in an evacuation."
He's not a safety hazard. In the event of a water landing he IS a floatation device.
